If you leave the trail, you can very easily become disoriented in the Park because of the many large boulders, crevices, caves, and cliffs which prevent you from walking in a straight line, and which can rapidly have you walking in circles. Local legend tells of a farmer attempting to cross this piece of land to get from one field to another who ended up spending the night sheltered in one of the caves because he became so lost he couldn’t get out. As you explore among the rocks, you can climb a limestone chimney and then descend back to the trail by climbing down a cliff using vines, explore some dead end canyons, and look into some deep holes between the rocks and carved out of the limestone.
